It is possible to understand broad patterns exhibited in colonization. The English colonization effort provides modern Americans hints and insights about the USA. Valencia College Professor Carl Creasman examines the English colonization period, particularly our first four successful colonies: Jamestown, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, and St. Mary’s.
