Suggest a Class

 

The Winter Park Library has established age-appropriate curricula for Children, Tweens, Teens, and Adults that informs our thinking when planning learning and personal growth opportunities. The curricula concentrates on Instructive & Enlightening Experiences through cultural and community concepts, events, and partnerships. Instructors for Library classes are comprised of academic scholars, professionals certified in their field of expertise, City of Winter Park staff, and individuals credentialed and experienced outside the traditional classroom. Our partnerships with local colleges and universities, Winter Park Chamber members and local businesses provide access to experts from multiple walks of life.

How to Suggest a Class
Please provide the following information to submit your proposal online. Applicants will be contacted by email if their suggestion aligns with our guidelines, mission, budget, and schedule. For marketing purposes, the Library's program schedule is planned between three to five months in advance.

Regulations
• Handouts with a profit-making organization's name, logo or trademark (except for business cards) may be distributed in the room only. We do not allow activities intended for business solicitation, sales leads, or other commercial, for-profit, or revenue-generating purposes.

• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Smoking or vaping is not allowed on any part of Library property. There are restrictions on refreshments; contact the Library for details.

• The room must be left in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
