Week Calendar

This energetic walk (approximately 2-2.5 miles and lasting 45-60 minutes) is for the speed walker in you! Finish with a water break, stretches and discussion. Convene in Library Belvedere.

Ages birth to 12 months; Duration: 20 minutes

Ages 24 - 36 months; Duration: 25 minutes 

Ages 13 - 24 months; Duration: 25 minutes 

Ages 13 - 24 months; Duration: 25 minutes 

Ages 3 - 5 years; Duration: 30 minutes 

Preschoolers will enjoy listening and learning through stories, song, and play. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adult.

Grades K-7.

Do you have treasured items that just need repair? These include mechanical and electrical items, clothing, bicycles, housewares, eye glasses, and wooden items.

Ages 3-5 years. Preschoolers will listen and learn through stories, song, and play. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adult. Bring your own blanket to sit on the ground.

Ages 13 - 36 months. Paint, glue, color and create! Young children will enjoy stories, songs and exploring age-appropriate art experiences.

Join local writers as well as musicians from Central Florida Fingerstyle Guitar Group as they team up to present an exciting show for your entertainment!

Grades K - 4. Experience basic coding while operating the Library's Dot, Dash or Ozobot robots. 

Enroll participating child. 

Ages 18+. Learn how to left, right and double click, how to use basic command keys, and navigate different areas of the keyboard. 

Grades 8 - 12. Share your time, creativity, and enthusiasm to make the library a better resource and place for teens. A volunteer service opportunity.

What does TAB do?

Grades K-7.

Grades 5-7. Learn the scientific principles behind shrink plastic while making magnets, pins, and charms with your artwork on them. 

Tuesdays, Sep 6 & 20, Oct 4 & 18, Nov 1 & 15, Dec 6 & 13

Ages 8-Adult. Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting or any type of fiber art? Then this is the club for you. Gather your projects to relax with friends and exchange ideas in this hybrid physical and virtual class.

Experienced and fledgling tellers gather monthly to share stories and practice their craft. This event is free and open to the public.

Have a relaxing night at the library with adult coloring. Coloring supplies provided but feel free to bring your own. 

Work on expanding a scene and hone in your writing skills at this beginners writing workshop. Come prepared to discuss writerly techniques and share a scene from your work, or get inspired to begin a new writing project!
