Come learn recording basics to create your own music or spoken-word project. The studio is available to full-service cardholders; attending this class is required to use the studio.

Fiction and non-fiction writers meet the 4th Wednesday of the month, in association with the Writers of Central Florida, offering each other support and critiques. 

Ages 13 - 24 months. Singing, dancing and moving to rhymes and simple stories will introduce young children to the joys of language and literature. We encourage full and active participation of accompanying adults.&

Ages 24 - 36 months. Bring your terrific tots to this interactive storytime that includes fun with books, songs, fingerplays and movement. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adults. 

Ages 3 - 5 years. Preschoolers will enjoy listening and learning through stories, song, and play. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adult. Duration: 30 minutes

Age 18+. Explore the intersection of Georgian theater and Jane Austen’s writing, including key playwrights, actors, popular plays, and the distinctive characteristics and playhouse structures of the era.

Girls in grades 5-12 are invited to this free and fun weekly course introducing topics like artificial intelligence, graphics, game design, cryptography and app development.

Ages 3-5. Explore STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math – concepts through stories and hands-on activities. Classes may focus on one or more areas. Please dress for mess.

Ages 2-5 years. Preschoolers will listen and learn through stories, song, and play. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adult. Bring your own blanket to sit on the ground. No enrollment required.

Aching to teach one of Jane Austen's masterpieces and not sure where to begin? Whether for a full unit or a few days, learn the tools to keep your students engaged.

Ages 2-12. Bring your lunch and a blanket while you watch a family film. Small munchies provided. This movie is rated "PG".

Monthly folk concert featuring noted musicians from Florida and surrounding regions. Suggested donation $15 ($10 for WPL card holders).   

Grades 8-12. Create your own flavorful, customizable bowls of delicious ramen.

Ages 0-5. Drop by our Imagination Room for low-sensory free-play. Play with our toys or bring your own! Caregivers are encouraged to participate in intentional hands-on play with their child.

Grades K – 5. Go beyond crayons! Explore the world of art and crafts. Work with cool and creative art/craft mediums and join in the fun of expressing yourself. Please dress for mess.

Ages 2-5. Wear your favorite pair of pajamas and join Ms.
