Citrus Crime Writers are delighted to present an hour with Oline Cogdill, a nationally syndicated book reviewer based in South Florida. Oline (pronounced ALL-een) will talk about: Strippers, Coffee and Ethics -- Overused Author Cliches and the Ethics of Reviewing Books. This will be a hybrid meeting, available in person and also on Zoom (link provided by request). 

Oline H. Cogdill reviews mystery fiction for the Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale/Tribune Publishing Wire, Publishers Weekly, Shelf Awareness, and Mystery Scene magazine. She was honored with the 2013 Raven Award from the Mystery Writers of America, the 1999 Ellen Nehr Award by the American Crime Writers League, and the 1997 Sun Sentinel’s Pettijohn Award. Oline is a judge for the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Los Angeles Times Book Prize in the mystery/thriller category. 

Citrus Crime Writers is the Central Florida chapter of the Sisters in Crime, Inc. Sisters in Crime (SinC) is an international organization with the aim of promoting the professional development and advancement of women who write in the crime and mystery genres.
