Calling all book artists and book arts enthusiasts!

This month: Long Stitch Binding with Supported Laced Cover with Christopher Saclolo

In this workshop, participants will create a blank book model learning a variation of the long stitch binding with supportive laces for cover attachment. This binding method requires no glue, just sewing.

Please bring the following tools to participate in the workshop:

  1. Ruler
  2. Pencil
  3. Scissors
  4. X Acto knife
  5. Mat board for cutting
  6. Needle
  7. Awl
  8. Bonefolder
  9. Medium/Heavy weight color/decorative paper (for cover) measuring 5.5” x 17”

Optional material to bring:

Partnership with Book Arts Guild of Central Florida.
