Good sleep isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. Learn the latest discoveries in sleep medicine and strategies to combat  common sleep thieves, and create a personal action plan to take control of your rest.

Developed by University of Florida IFAS, Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ (FFL) follows nine principles to help residents and business owners create and maintain beautiful yards using research-based, environmentally-sustainable landscaping practices.

Ages 13 - 24 months. Singing, dancing and moving to rhymes and simple stories will introduce young children to the joys of language and literature. We encourage full and active participation of accompanying adults.&

Ages 24 - 36 months. Bring your terrific tots to this interactive storytime that includes fun with books, songs, fingerplays and movement. We encourage full and active participation of the accompanying adults. 

Girls in grades 5-12 are invited to this free and fun weekly course introducing topics like artificial intelligence, graphics, game design, cryptography and app development.

The Wine Room brings its expertise to the Library in this tasting session. Wine and cheeses will be served. November topic: TBD

Class fee of $10 per person. Enrollment opens promptly at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, October 30.

Gather with other board and card game enthusiasts to play Say Anything, Taboo, Likewise, Word on the Street, Scattergories, Apples to Apples, and more. Card games (Hearts and Spades, Uno, Phase 10) may also be available.

Curious to research your roots and learn about African-American history? This is the class for you. Partnership with The Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society of Central Florida.

Ages 2-12. Bring your lunch and a blanket while you watch a family film. Small munchies provided. This movie is rated "G". 

Ages 18+. Writers, bring your writing instruments of choice, along with any other writing supplies. The write-in will be timed sprints with short breaks in between. We can’t wait to write with you! Partnership with Writers’ Atelier.
