Voice assistants like Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri, or Google Assistant are wonderful tools that can help you play your favorite song, automate your home, keep track of your shopping lists, and wrangle your busy schedule. However, privacy advocates have raised concerns about whether smart speakers might be listening to you when they shouldn’t be. This presentation will discuss the benefits and potential concerns with these systems, and we’ll also talk about how to access privacy controls so you can choose to limit what’s being shared.
