Ages 18+. Timelines and milestones have shaped our understanding of the Long Civil Rights movement. Explore the expansive landscape of the efforts of folks like Dr. Martin L. King Jr., Mary McLeod Bethune, Bayard Rustin, Fannie Lou Hamer and many others. Take a fuller account of the moments and memories that stretch beyond 1954 – 1965 in this session. Engage in facilitated dialogue as you encounter archives and artifacts that help us keep telling the stories of extra/ordinary people in extra/ordinary times. Explore, listen and respond to profound accounts and narratives of the ongoing movement.
