What does it mean to be politically conservative?  Some observers link the word “conservatism” to a political movement or ideology while others, such as Washington Post columnist George Will, suggest that the word refers to a temperament or sensibility.  Come join Valencia College Professor Scott Crosby to discuss the life and philosophy of Edmund Burke (1729-1797), his connection to both the American and French Revolutions, and how his ideas continue to influence modern thinkers.

Partnership with Valencia College.
