Please Pardon Our Dust 

We are happy to announce that the Library’s permanent alcove shelving has arrived and will be installed in the upcoming weeks.  

Installation requires removing books from shelves and limiting access to study spaces and collections, resulting in service disruptions.  

The building will remain open during this time, but noise levels may be disruptive. We recommend bringing your noise-canceling headphones with you if you plan to study or read during your visit. 

Upgrades will occur AUGUST 19 - SEPTEMBER 9, 2022
 

 

 

What Happens When:

August 19- 28: DVDs, audiobooks, magazines, and New Leaf Bookstore

  • 1st-floor DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines will be unavailable for use.
  • 1st-floor family restroom will be closed.  
  • The New Leaf Bookstore will be closed. We will continue to accept donations.  
  • The Business Center may be closed at times.
  • Call ahead at 407-623-3300 x 2 to check on access.  

August 20 - September 6: Adult fiction, graphic novels, and nonfiction

  • 1st-floor adult fiction, graphic novels, and some nonfiction will be unavailable for use. All new books will remain available.
  • The Memory Lab may be closed at times.  
  • Call ahead at 407-623-3300 x 2 to check on access.  

September 6 - 9: Adult nonfiction, large print, and mysteries

  • 1st-floor adult nonfiction, large print, and mysteries will be unavailable for use. All new books will remain available.
  • The 1st-floor restrooms and water fountains may be closed at times.  
  • Call ahead at 407-623-3300 x 2 to check on access.
