Curriculum Cards for Central Florida Educators Now Offered at WPL
Winter Park Library is proud to announce that fine-free, full-service library cards are available to all teachers, media specialists, and school librarians who teach children ages 0 through 18 at any Central Florida public or private school! The Curriculum Card provides access to all the Library’s resources, both onsite and online, to support the efforts of educators by assisting them with their curriculum needs.
“WPL recognizes how valuable our educators are and understands the needs of teachers, school librarians, and students both within and beyond the classroom walls,” Erin Collier-Plummer, Youth Services Manager, explains. "We developed the Curriculum Card with the goal of both strengthening our existing relationships with our local schools and building new partnerships, via curriculum support, with all Central Florida schools. Whether you’re teaching toddlers or high schoolers, we want to be your education partner.”
All that is required to obtain a Curriculum Card is a completed application form and verification of employment as a teacher, media specialist, or school librarian at a school located in Central Florida. Verification can include a school ID (such as a badge), a uniform, a name tag, a pay stub, or a school directory listing.
With a new Library featuring expanded youth collections and cutting-edge technology resources to support 21st-century learning, it’s a great time for Central Florida educators to sign up for a Curriculum Card and take advantage of all that WPL has to offer!
