Unmoored: America Adrift

Creator: Professor Carl Creasman

"Unmoored: America Adrift in Historical Forgetfulness and Finding Our Way Back” is a podcast that examines the cultural and sociological challenges to the USA that I believe are apparent through any casual glance in the early 21st century. As the name suggests, the podcast asserts that we have largely lost and forgotten our national history so recovering that history will help guide the nation forward towards a flourishing for all.

Lonely Road

My name is Tim Harper and I have been producing and recording for my band Cabin 13. I recently became a member of the Winter Park Library and have had the privilege to start recording in the studio there!  We are an Indie Folk band based mainly in Orlando with influences from such artists as Mumford and Sons and Noah Khan to more pop artists such as Ed Sheeran!  We currently don’t have anything released that was recorded in this studio, but we plan on having some soon!

ACCOUNTABILITY

Creator: Jaime Lee Lewis

ACCOUNTABILITY is a poetry album confronting challenges, and in many cases the emotional abuse, men often face in relationships. I sought to give voice to this lesser told narrative that plays out in a man’s search for genuine connection. I mastered songs from this poetry project at the library.

Patsy Maharam Music

Creator: Patsy Maharam

An accomplished composer/musician/conductor/recording artist for over 4 decades, I am no stranger to recording studios on the east and west coast. I learned about the Winter Park Library’s Recording Studio from a friend, and I am thrilled to call it my go-to quiet space for creativity, preservation and production of my original materials. Tune in to my website to read more and to listen to my eclectic blends of pop music, jazz, Broadway and easy listening. Throughout the site, there are voiceovers and music recorded, re-mixed and newly restored. Check out the “Composer’s Corner” page for newer work and work that I’ve remixed using the studio at WPL. You can also find my music on YouTube (@thecomebackclaus) and on all streaming platforms.
